Jesus made the world.

6yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
1 cor 8 6

Jesus is God. This is so imprtant to know and trust because if you do not your not saved. Jesus is the reason that everything was made. We are made to worship Jesus and for Jesus to love us forever.

Col 1 15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
Loaded passage. Jesus is God and the Image of God, we read about Jesus we read the God that made the worlds and stars by his words. Jesus is the first in creation. Jesus is the king of everything created. He is worthy just in this to be worshiped and honored. Jesus is the first born of all thus he is the most important thing/persoon of creation and he is creator. He made everything. He made every power in the world to. He rules the angels both the good and bad. Jesus had the power in the Gospels to put demons in pigs and they obey. Jesus rules also hell. He made it and he is the one who judges who goes and where they go.

Jesus not the pope is the leader of his church. Jesus is the one the local church is to look to and ask who leads it and they are his own people. Jesus gives the gifting of each of his own who make up the church. He wants us to go by the gifting to see who is to do the work of the body. What is your gifts and are you using them in your local church? Jesus is the first one to Raise from the dead. He made it possible for you to go to heaven.

so...
1 Lets keep Jesus the reason we live
2 Lets use our gifts to loift his church up
3 Lets share Jesus as the reason for life
Pope said itds ok to be gay. He and that church are not right and the bible is right. If you want to trust the bible and stay in the cults friends I hope you are going to follow the bible. Ir is a issue where the bible is clear that gay is sinful.

Now I am going to work here on a series that might take me 20 years and I want to go over the life of Jesus. His is really your life if your saved as he gave his life for you and that life ought to be studied and gone over and over again then we ought to see what we can on every part of Jesus life. I am going to go on the book One Perfect Life by Macarthur as a guide. Sometimes I will put the passage in and sometimes not. For the first few times we are going to look at issues of the office of Jesus. I start at the beginning of all creation.

1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
John 1
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not £comprehend it.

Jesus made the world. WE might know that but the thing that blows me away is the truth Jesus saved the world by his death. I think hymns teach us tons and we sing them. Here is a song/hymn that you ought to learn and sing. I love this refrain
O how I love Him! How I adore Him!
My breath, my sunshine, my all in all!
The great Creator became my Savior,
And all God’s fulness dwelleth in Him.

The creator became my savior. I got a opera singer who I like sang this on a cd and it is done so pretty as it is a lyric I love. Jesus made me I sin and he who made me died so he could love me.forever.

I am going to do as I did last time and hit this passage then put thee passage down. I am going to knock it on your chair and tell you that God is good. So good that in tbe teaching of the chapter of sin there is grace. We are wicked and unable to not sin. Every one has uncontrolled sin and they are unable to not sin. All people everywhere also do not anyway to come to Jesus without Jesus making a call to them. Now even in the nation of Israel where they were taken over and basicly not a nation because they treated God like a door mat God made a promicw to them and is keeping it that he would spare them.

Now I think the statement we need to think about is God is mercy in that he saved some and not God is going to save all. Not everyone is going to see Heaven and in fact the bible said most are going to not. But God is always good.
remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you. 61Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed, when you receive your older and your younger sisters; for I will give them to you for daughters, but not because of My covenant with you. 62And I will establish My covenant with you. Then you shall know that I am the Lord63that you may remember and be ashamed, and never open your mouth anymore because of your shame, when I provide you an atonement for all you have done,” says the Lord GOD.’”

Nevertheless is a great word in this chapter to me. Before it God is showing the contempt of people and the pure sin of people and how they diss God However God in pure mercy is going to do as he said and give them everlasting grace. This is a promice that is filled in Jesus and it is so powerful to us. Think of this that you are nothing and on your way to hell and somehow you heard of Jesus and him dieing for you on the cross. And he died when you were hard in din and had no hope. Jesus then saw you and loved you so much that he did not want you to die in hell. So he said to God that he would come and live in the sin filled world as a man, but he would not sin. Then at the peak of his life Jesus would be taken into the court and be whiped and flogged and beaten to a inch of his life. Then he would take his perfect life and give it up and be fastened to a cross and be left by God to die. His death would mean this King of perfection would be seprated from God and enter hell in this and suffer the penalty for sins. Jesus paid hell when you ought to go there. God should of took the nation that rebelled and made them a pillar of salt but God is not like that. Jesus ought of put me in hell the first sin I did. He ought to of made me a all of fire the day I spoke out of hate toward Jesus. God should of sent me away but he did not. God did the most unexpected thing. He came to me and died and then offered me many tinme this pardon and presented the plan,. I then took the promise and he came into my life and gave me hope. He replaced familys and gave me friends. I then got to know Jesus and Jesus is working to make me his own and when I die I get to go to a place where Jesus is going to be forever and ever.

Let me say this none of Jesus I got because I was good or followed a code. I did not earn anything of Jesus and never will even contribute to my salvation. I never can give a dime to pay it off. I cannot do a good thing to get it and I never will pray a prayer of make a thing for Jesus. I am not going to a place of punshment when I die but Jesus is going to take me home. Jesus alone paid for my salvation on the cross and forgave all sins of mine forever and Jesus is now in my heart sealed me for him.

I am toying with doing a long series on the book One Perfect life by John Mac.  It is a book on the life of Jesus and the gospels are in one readable format.  It is a long book but I really want to do a group study on this book and stidy Jesus Life for a few years.  Here trailer
http://www.christianbook.com/perfect-life-complete-story-lord-jesus/john-macarthur/9781401676322/pd/676322

I thi nk we all ought to read this book as it is the bible put into a format where Jesus life is done so well.  I am not sure how we will do it but keep reading and we ought to because this is our life as when we took Jesus as our Lord this is now our life as he has given his life for ours in exchange.  Is that not what life is all about to know Jesus.

I want to lump the dirtest part of the chapter in which I am working on in our last few studies.  I want to get out of it so we can move on.  This I think is God talking to his people on old and I think it is a metaphor of us as lost people.  I see in the passage how they are depraved people.

Here is the way I see it and maybe we can talk this out.  Depraved mean you are going to sin and sin is so bad it makes you unable to go to Jesus for forgiveness.  It takes a act of God to break you to a place where you are going to even seek the Lord.  So the Lord has to seek you and it is my thinking that Jesus does seek the lost.  Now here is the thing,  I go to a Billy Graham crusade and I am given the truth of the Gospel.  Jesus will forgive me if I ask him to and turn from sin.  And Jack hears the same sermon.  Y is it I go forward and Jack rejects it?  Some think Jack on his own free will rejects it AND I go forward and embrace Jesus out of free will.

I and many think that there is a act of God to plant the want into my heart and not in Jacks.  Jack has not been worked on and is not able to go forward and I am worked on bJesus to the point of the Spirit to ask for Jesus.  I did not come to Jesus then 6 months later dump him like other fads?  SO what kept me and it was not me.  Yes in me human life might have inspired me but the truth that I got out of home where I had to go to church and then I found a church and kept going.  I hated church as a lad.  But deep down I liked it but I think I used it to draw attention and shock.  I know that I had to go when the twins were in the world series and I wanted to watch my twins.  That one I did not care to go to church.  If the Vikings were playing I did hurry the service and tend to not go to late service.  I do not mind now missing kick off but I got dvr.  Anyhow tell pastors 11 45 is the end becaue kick is at noon.  I bet some preacher make u miss kick cause they want you to take Jesus as more important (but the nfl could hold the kick to 12 30 so we can see it?)

I go off but the point is for some Jesus saved and others they do not care?  Why

Here is the text

35‘Now then, O harlot, hear the word of the Lord! 36Thus says the Lord GOD: “Because your filthiness was poured out and your nakedness uncovered in your harlotry with your lovers, and with all your abominable idols, and because of the blood of your children which you gave to them, 37surely, therefore, I will gather all your lovers with whom you took pleasure, all those you loved, and all those you hated; I will gather them from all around against you and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness. 38And I will judge you as women who break wedlock or shed blood are judged; I will bring blood upon you in fury and jealousy. 39I will also give you into their hand, and they shall throw down your shrines and break down your high places. They shall also strip you of your clothes, take your beautiful jewelry, and leave you naked and bare.
40“They shall also bring up an assembly against you, and they shall stone you with stones and thrust you through with their swords. 41They shall burn your houses with fire, and execute judgments on you in the sight of many women; and I will make you cease playing the harlot, and you shall no longer hire lovers. 42So I will lay to rest My fury toward you, and My jealousy shall depart from you. I will be quiet, and be angry no more. 43Because you did not remember the days of your youth, but £agitated Me with all these things, surely I will also recompense your deeds on your own head,” says the Lord GOD. “And you shall not commit lewdness in addition to all your abominations.
44“Indeed everyone who quotes proverbs will use this proverb against you: ‘Like mother, like daughter!’ 45You are your mother’s daughter, loathing husband and children; and you are the sister of your sisters, who loathed their husbands and children; your mother was a Hittite and your father an Amorite.
46“Your elder sister is Samaria, who dwells with her daughters to the north of you; and your younger sister, who dwells to the south of you, is Sodom and her daughters. 47You did not walk in their ways nor act according to their abominations; but, as if that were too little, you became more corrupt than they in all your ways.
48“As I live,” says the Lord GOD, “neither your sister Sodom nor her daughters have done as you and your daughters have done. 49Look, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: She and her daughter had pride, fullness of food, and abundance of idleness; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50And they were haughty and committed abomination before Me; therefore I took them away as £I saw fit.
51“Samaria did not commit half of your sins; but you have multiplied your abominations more than they, and have justified your sisters by all the abominations which you have done. 52You who judged your sisters, bear your own shame also, because the sins which you committed were more abominable than theirs; they are more righteous than you. Yes, be disgraced also, and bear your own shame, because you justified your sisters.
53“When I bring back their captives, the captives of Sodom and her daughters, and the captives of Samaria and her daughters, then I will also bring back the captives of your captivity among them, 54that you may bear your own shame and be disgraced by all that you did when you comforted them. 55When your sisters, Sodom and her daughters, return to their former state, and Samaria and her daughters return to their former state, then you and your daughters will return to your former state. 56For your sister Sodom was not a byword in your mouth in the days of your pride, 57before your wickedness was uncovered. It was like the time of the reproach of the daughters of £Syria and all those around her, and of the daughters of the Philistines, who despise you everywhere. 58You have paid for your lewdness and your abominations,” says the Lord. 59For thus says the Lord GOD: “I will deal with you as you have done, who despised the oath by breaking the covenant.

10 Things Every Christian Should Know About Islam

Islam is a fast-growing religion, especially in the Western world. Christians increasingly need to be aware of Islam and, most importantly, how to engage its adherents with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Here are 10 things I learned about Islam during my 20 years as a missionary in a Muslim-majority country.
1. "Muslim" and "Arab" are not the same thing.
"Muslim" is a religious term. A Muslim is someone who adheres to the religion of Islam. "Arab," on the contrary, is an ethno-linguistic term. An Arab is a member of the people group who speak the Arabic language. It is true that Islam originated among the Arabs, and the Qur'an was written in Arabic. However, some Arabs have historically been part of the ancient orthodox Christian churches. On the other hand, Islam spread far beyond the Arab world, and today most Muslims are not Arabs. This includes the Turks, the Kurds, the Iranians, the Pakistanis, other South Asian Muslims, the Malaysians and the Indonesians, almost all of whom are Muslim but none of whom is Arab.
2. The word "Islam" means submission.
A Muslim is someone who submits to God. The Islamic conception of who God is, and how he is to be worshiped and served, is based on the teaching of Muhammad. Thus the Islamic creed is: "There is no God but God, and Muhammad is his prophet."
3. There are two major denominations of Muslims.
The two major denominations of Muslims are Sunni and Shi'a. Sunnis are the vast majority, at 85 percent of all Muslims. The split occurred in the first generation after Muhammad's death and was based on a dispute over who should succeed him as leader of the Islamic community.
4. Islamic theology could be summarized as belief in one God, his prophets, his books, his angels, his decrees, and the final judgment.
Islam teaches that humans are born spiritually neutral, perfectly capable of obeying God's requirements completely, and that they remain this way even after they've personally sinned. The need of humanity, therefore, is not salvation but instruction; hence Islam has prophets, but no savior.
5. Islam teaches that Jesus was a great prophet.
Islam affirms that Jesus was born of a virgin, that he lived a sinless life, that he performed mighty miracles, and that he will come again at the end of history. It even calls him a word from God. However, it explicitly denies the deity of Christ and repudiates the title "Son of God" as blasphemous. It also (according to the majority view) denies he died on the cross, claiming that Jesus' visage was imposed on someone else, who was then crucified, and that Jesus was taken up into heaven without tasting death. Islam explicitly denies the possibility of substitutionary atonement.
6. Islamic practice can be summarized by the Five Pillars of Islam.
These are composed of the confession of faith ("There is no God but God, and Muhammad is his prophet"), prayer (the ritual prayers said in Arabic five times a day while facing Mecca and performing the prescribed set of bowings, kneeling, and prostrations), alms (taken as a tax in some officially Islamic countries), fasting (the lunar month of Ramadan, during which Muslim believers fast during daylight hours but can eat while it's dark), and pilgrimage (the Hajj, or pilgrimage to Mecca, which every Muslim believer should make once in his or her lifetime).
7. The vast majority of Muslims are not terrorists.
In fact, normal Islamic religious law forbids the intentional killing of non-combatants in battle. It also forbids suicide. It's a small minority view that allows these things, and it's a small minority who engage in terrorist activities.
8. Muslims can be some of the friendliest, most hospitable people on earth.
They make great neighbors and great friends. No Christian should be afraid to build a relationship with a Muslim.
9. Muslims need salvation through Jesus Christ.
They are lost exactly like any other non-Christian—neither more nor less than anyone else. Furthermore, Muslims do come to faith in Jesus Christ. It usually takes time, and extended exposure to the Word of God and the lives of Christians, but more Muslims are coming to faith today than at any other point in history.
10. God loves Muslims, and so should we—even those few who are our enemies.
We should love them enough to befriend them, love them enough to make them welcome in our homes, and love them enough to share the gospel with them.

idol

27“Behold, therefore, I stretched out My hand against you, diminished your allotment, and gave you up to the will of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who were ashamed of your lewd behavior. 28You also played the harlot with the Assyrians, because you were insatiable; indeed you played the harlot with them and still were not satisfied. 29Moreover you multiplied your acts of harlotry as far as the land of the trader, Chaldea; and even then you were not satisfied.

God is a Lover but he is also a king and a jealous God.  God has a anger and he is going to use it on the sin you have before him.  Israel turned and rejected God and God is not one to like being rejected.  Jesus died and earned the right of being first in your life and when he is not and you fail to love him your not going to like the results.  God gave them up to the harlots.  They turned the good things into bad.  So God made wrath.  God is not going to tolerate sin.  If you sin it is never good.

Sin, Against God—Ingratitude is sin. God provided all Israel needed and provides all we need for life with Him. We sin against Him when we take His gifts and prostitute them to serve purposes other than His. Our beauty, fame, fortune, and skills are His gifts to us. We can use them in gratitude to worship Him. When we use them selfishly to attract other people whose favors we desire, we sin. When we use them to buy protection from other powers, we sin. When we use them to pay homage to anyone or thing besides God, we sin. When such sin leads us to violent treatment of others, we multiply our sin. We think our brazen actions against God show our strength and independence. God says they show how weak our mental, moral, and spiritual capacities are.

love god

In the world there are 2 religions.  One iis where you must earn your way and do it yourself.  If you do it your self you have to be perfect and you lie one time you lose it.  But if you place your faith and trust in Jesus your going to go to haven and that is where you want to go.  So lets look more into the truth of the passage we r in

23“Then it was so, after all your wickedness—‘Woe, woe to you!’ says the Lord GOD—24that you also built for yourself a shrine, and made a high place for yourself in every street. 25You built your high places at the head of every road, and made your beauty to be abhorred. You offered yourself to everyone who passed by, and multiplied your acts of harlotry. 26You also committed harlotry with the Egyptians, your very fleshly neighbors, and increased your acts of harlotry to provoke Me to anger

So you want to make the Lord mad at you.  Fail to love him ABOVE everyone.  Love something more that Jesus and Jesus is going to be jealous of it.  Build something bigger than the Lord and he is going to not like it.  God will not like it and if love Jesus you are to worship Jesus above everything and one.  If you love your family above Jesus STOP IT.,  If we are good in anything we use it to promote Jesus and bring him to people.  Israel did this in the bible and the Lord did not spare them and his wrath burned.  They commited a serious sin that made God punish them.  If you make Jesus low your peace is going to leave you.  You are going to not be close to Jesus you will not grow in Jesus which is going to make you lose His assureance and you are going to suffer.  Do not give yourself to things on earth like pleasure or drinking and think it is well in your walk.  U are not going to be happy in your love life with Jesus.
