Psalm 61
Assurance of God’s
Eternal Protection
To the Chief Musician. On A
Stringed Instrument. A Psalm of David.
1 Hear
my cry, O God;
Attend to my prayer.
2 From
the end of the earth I will cry to You,
When my heart is overwhelmed;
Lead me to the rock that is
higher than I.
Jesus is the rock that is far higher than we are. Here David is asking the Lord to hear his prayer. We are commanded in the book of ! Peter to cast our cares on Jesus for Jesus cares for you. What a wonder that Jesus truly cares about all the things we do. Jesus is all over the earth and he is where you are. Please if you have any needs go and talk them over with Jesus.
3 For
You have been a shelter for me,
A strong tower from the enemy.
4 I
will abide in Your tabernacle forever;
I will trust in the shelter of
Your wings.
God has been a place where
David could always go, He is a strong tower and a place the bad
people cannot go get him at. He is going to be in Gods home forevrer
as we are going to be. So we al can call on the Lord and tell him
all we are going to face. Jesus is going to be in the place we are
going to be forever.
Selah
5 For
You, O God, have heard my vows;
You have
given me
the heritage of those who fear Your name.
6 You
will prolong the king’s life,
His years as many generations.
7 He
shall abide before God forever.
Oh, prepare
mercy and truth, which
may preserve him!
8 So
I will sing praise to Your name forever,
That I may
daily perform my vows
*
God is the place we
can praise and thank because He is going to care for us in this life
and the next. He has given me a Godly heritage. I must say that in
my life the Lord has always given my Christians in life. I think the
care of the Lord has never left me. When we seek the Lord he tends
to bless us with people to help us to grow closer to him.
